This notice explains what personal information AI Builders Club collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written in plain English on purpose. If anything here isn’t clear, ask me and I’ll explain it properly.
AI Builders Club is run by Khalid Saeed, a sole trader, from 31 Old Palace Road, Croydon CR0 1AX. I am the data controller, which means I decide what information is held and why, and I am responsible for looking after it.

When you ring, message on WhatsApp, or email, I keep your name, your contact details, and what we talked about — usually your child’s first name, their age, and what they might like to build. Nothing more than I need to have a sensible conversation with you.
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. It does not track you, profile you, or pass anything about your visit to an advertiser. The site is hosted by Render, and its servers keep standard technical logs including IP addresses, as every web server does. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google’s servers see the request for those files.
The club is for young people aged 10–16, so almost everything I hold relates to a child. I take that seriously.
Building with AI means your child will use a tool such as ChatGPT or Google Gemini, on an account held in your name, with your written consent. What your child types into that tool goes to that company, not to me, and is governed by their terms and their privacy policy — both of which are worth reading before you agree.
These companies are based outside the UK, so information sent to them leaves the country. That is unavoidable when using them at all, which is precisely why I ask for your consent first rather than assuming it.
What I teach children about this matters as much as the paperwork. Builders are told plainly, in the room, never to put personal details — their surname, their address, their school, anyone’s phone number — into an AI tool. It is one of the first things we cover, and I repeat it.

Ask me and I will do it, free of charge, within one month. If you think I have handled your information badly, please tell me first so I can put it right — and if you are still unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Records are held on password-protected, encrypted devices and accounts with two-factor authentication switched on. Only I have access, apart from the narrow exceptions above. I keep as little as possible, for as short a time as possible, because information that isn’t held cannot be lost.
If this notice changes in a way that matters, I will update the date at the top and tell current families directly.
These are the terms on which AI Builders Club runs. They are deliberately short, because the arrangement itself is deliberately simple: you pay for one session at a time, and you can stop whenever you like.

Weekly two-hour sessions, in person, in a small group, where young people aged 10–16 build real websites, apps and games by directing AI in plain English. A first build usually takes between ten and fifteen weeks, though that depends entirely on what your child chooses to make.
It is not a coding course, and there is no syllabus or qualification at the end of it. What your child leaves with is a finished thing they made, and the ability to make the next one.
Everyone starts with a free Discovery Meeting. Nothing is sold at it. If you decide to go ahead, your child starts at the next session, and I will ask you to complete a short consent form for their supervised use of the AI tools. That is the only paperwork.
Storage for their work, hosting for the finished build at its own web address, food and drink, and everything else the session needs. Your child brings a laptop capable of running the AI tools, and an idea — or no idea at all, which is just as good a place to start.
The AI account is held in your name, with your consent, and is normally free. If a particular build ever needs something that costs money, I will tell you before it does, and in almost every case I will cover it.
Your child does. The build, the notes, the sketches, the design file — all of it belongs to them and goes with them if they leave. I make no claim over any of it.
I host finished builds free of charge for as long as your child is with the club and for a reasonable period afterwards. If you would rather host it yourself, or move it to your own web address, I will help you do that.
I would like to show finished work to other families, but I will only ever do that with your written permission, and you can withdraw it at any time.
No photograph or recording of your child is taken or used without your specific written consent, given separately from these terms. You can withdraw it whenever you like and I will remove the material.
You can stop at any time, without notice and without an awkward conversation. Just tell me.
I may ask a young person to leave if their behaviour is persistently unsafe or is preventing others from working, but only after talking to you first and trying to sort it out. In that case you pay nothing further.
I will give your child my full attention, my experience, and every workaround I can find when their build gets stuck. That is my side of it, and I take it seriously.
I cannot promise a particular result, a finished project by a particular date, or that any specific feature will turn out to be possible. Building is uncertain by nature — that is what makes it worth doing, and it is why you pay one week at a time rather than in advance.
Nothing in these terms limits my liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Beyond that, my liability is limited to the fees you have paid.
Tell me. Ring, message or email, and I will deal with it directly and quickly. I would far rather hear it from you than not hear it at all.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
